Disciple Bible Outreach Ministries will continue to bring DISCIPLE Bible Study and RINGS OF FELLOWSHIP training to every district in North Carolina by offering training in 6 districts in 2009.  These events are free of charge to all clergy and lay persons in the North Carolina and Western North Carolina Conferences of the UMC.  Guests from other conferences and denominations are welcome to attend for a registration fee of $25.

The dates and locations of the 2009 events are as follows:

February 7- New Bern - First UMC, Morehead City
February 21 - Rockingham - Laurel Hill UMC
February 28 - Winston-Salem - Ardmore UMC
March 28 - Gastonia - Myers Memorial UMC
May 2 - Asheville - Trinity UMC
May 23 - North Wilkesboro - Wilkesboro UMC

Registration begins at 8:45am and the training will run from 9:00am-3:00pm.  Lunch is provided at a minimal cost.  This is an excellent opportunity to train new group leaders and equippers in congregations that already have a DISCIPLE Bible Ministry.  In addition, congregations that currently do not have a DISCIPLE program can explore this ministry by participating in one of these training events.
